I bought this purely out of the name brand and its affordability as there were hardly any reviews about this product.The 1st time I used it, it did a very good job of removing dead skins on my feet. Then through subsequent use, I found the stone to be less effective.I withheld giving feedback based on my 1st few uses. Then it dawns on me that the "pores" on the stone were plugged up with dead skins. No wonder it loses its effectiveness.My routine now is to use a toothbrush to brush against the surface in running water, to dislodge the dead skins from the "pores".Additionally, I like the violin shape. One can hold the stone by its wider surface and press the stone against some tough spots.Overall, I consider this a very well designed and made product. Will DEFINITELY buy again from this vendor.
