I'm going to guess that if you're looking at this product, you've got some sort of issue with excess skin or stretch marks. Which by nature, is a sensitive kind of issue for women especially, and you're trying to wade through the sea of reviews and figure out if this product might help you personally. I'm going to tell you based on my experience, it might, because it did help me.A bit over 10 years ago, I gave birth to an amazing girl. And she was worth what happened, every bit of it. But I experienced some more serious complications that caused me to retain a significant amount of fluid towards the end of the pregnancy and four a couple weeks after delivery, most of it in my abdomen. It was coming on so heavy that my skin was ripping and splitting towards the end, it didn't even have time to stretch. After a fair bit of medical intervention, I was stabilized, and they put me on a medication to get rid of the fluid.And I stood in the mirror after the fluid was gone and words can not even describe what I felt. It was more then a year before I could look at myself in the mirror below the neck after that, and even then I flinched. I remember standing there that first day and thinking to myself that I would never, ever feel pretty again and nothing could restore that. I am not now nor was I then willing to undergo surgery for this issue, because that particular procedure has some pretty heavy risks, and having been blessed to survive the delivery and complications, I am not interested in elective procedures that put my chance to be here for my kiddos at risk in such a manner. That is a personal choice for me, no judgement meant to those who choose otherwise.Over the years, I tried a variety of things. Vitamin E oil. No real difference. Caster Oil. No real difference. Almond oil, no noticeable difference. Lavender oil...no noticeable difference. Scrubbing with salts and oil combinations. You guessed it, no noticeable changes. These are all the natural type things that anecdotally are supposed to help with these problems.This Reviva lotion, I started trying this over a year ago...definitely made a significant and noticeable difference in the appearance of the skin on my stomach, at least in regards to the excess skin. The scars and the stretch marks are not really changed...I ripped scars/stretch marks half an inch thick on my lower abdomen in some spots towards the end as my skin was tearing, and I imagine surgery really is about the only thing that's going to get rid of that. For the excess skin, when I'm standing up straight now, it's so much better I want to cry for different reasons when I look at it. It still puckers up like scrunched satin when I lean forward or bend, my skin was so damaged nothing is really ever going to return it to normal, but this made such a huge, huge difference I'm willing to share my story to support this product.So for me personally, yes, I think this product has helped. But what helped me more was learning to not define myself based on what I looked like on the outside. I know how hard that is, because western culture really tends to drum home this message to women that our value and our looks are one and the same. I'm here to say that is not true for you or for me, and the true beauty is about how you live your life and how you treat those around you. But because everybody likes to feel like the most attractive version of themselves they can be physically too, even me, I still recommend this product for helping with skin related issues.this lotion was MIA for a while, glad they brought it back. its lightweight, not greasy and absorbs really well. i use it daily after my shower and a little goes a long way. smells nice, but the scent doesn't linger which is fine with me. its kinda floral/fruity, like orange blossoms.i like that i can buy it in a one, two or three pack and the price is fair for the amount being purchased.the squeeze bottle works well, i hate pump bottles. i hope Reviva Labs keeps this stuff around now, its good to have it back in my daily routine.I love this product! I've used it several times over the years, as weight loss left my skin loose and saggy. This lotion works miracles to firm up the skin and leaves it soft and moisturized. It's a little pricey but totally worth it.I see many reviwers said they did not think the product works well and that the smell leaves a lot to be desired. I don't mind the smell at all. It is not extremely strong and to me, it smells a little like orange blossoms or jasmine. The BEST thing is that I am allergic to nearly every skin product on the market, so my skin has been dry for probably 20 years. I have not aged well, and in the past year I lost 70 pounds, so the struggle is real as far as having sagging skin. This is not a miracle cure. I have not seen much improvement on my thighs, which still look a lot like cottage cheese. The skin does, however, feel a lot firmer once the lotion is applied and dries.The greatest improvement has been under my chin and my elbows. I notice a big difference there. Perhaps the pores are bigger there or it gets absorbed better. I bought the product to deal with the extra skin around my belly, which is prone to breaking down when it touches skin to skin all day and sweats. I have not found the solution to help that, and I have tried wearing compression shorts as well. Would love to hear any ideas that anyone might have. I have not checked into it, but I would venture to say that my insurance probably will not cover excess skin removal surgery.If you suffer from skin allergies and wold like to try something that is pretty much all natural, this is a great find.I got this to help with tightening up skin after losing weight. I've read where this type of lotion is not going to help. I have not used it daily for that, so I'm not sure that it is helping at this point. I recently started using it on my face and neck. Now my chin and neck got a bit flabby from losing the extra chins, and in this case it does get used daily. I am noticing that in the two weeks or so I've done this I do notice it is looking better, firmer and tighter. Guess I should use it all over more religiously! At first I did not love the scent, but I do like it now. It's slightly orangey, which I like. In fact it could be more orangey smelling and that would be even better.In general, it does not leave you feeling slimy or greasy, it absorbs quickly, and has a subtle scent to it. It's nice lotion anyway, but the improvement in my skin is a huge plus.I just had a baby and needless to say, my belly lost a lot of its elasticity and my skin was droopy after it stretched a lot in my last trimester. I didn't find this lotion until my baby was about 9 months old, but I decided to give it a try and hope for the best. I used this lotion every day on my belly and boobs for 1 week immediately after my shower and I saw MAJOR results!!! My belly was left feeling soft and smooth, but most importantly, my skin tightened back up. I was shocked at such immediate and drastic results for such a cheap price!! The smell is nice and the lotion isn't greasy. Along with using the lotion regularly after my shower, I also increased my water intake to also help moisturize my skin. I am very happy and satisfied with the results.This cream is brilliant for the price, leaves skin looking and feeling healthy, hydrated and smooth. Doesn't work miracles, but absolutely improves the appearance of skin.As yet no visible improvement signs... But I forget to use daily..... and only had a short period.Its quite nice, lovely smell but not that great by itself but skin soft, need to use with weightloss regime.I'm giving this 5 stars as I have noticed a big difference in just a few days. Will buy againA nice smell and it's very watery so goes a long way, but I can't say I've noticed a difference when comparing to any other product. Will probably buy again simply because it's cheap, but I have found better products for slightly more money.
