Like my review on the .22 body shot target, I love everything about this except the price (and a few minor things). Also, like the .22 version, I got mine from Amazon affiliate Woot for only $40!!! At that price it was worth it... but at the current price of $137.52 it is not. Now for the actual review. This target is great with a few exceptions. Number one, the body target doesn't attach to the base with anything other than gravity. This is only a factor when moving the target since you have to carry 2 extremely heavy pieces of equipment. I figure the body plate it's self weighs about 25-30 lbs. My wife can't pick it up. All together it probably weighs close to 40. These numbers are just a guess. Because of this weight it would be nice to just grab the body to move the target but instead you have to remove the body, move the base and then re-install the body. Second, the entire target flips forward occasionally. I was shooting in a rocky area where I couldn't put the stakes in the ground and twice the target flipped on it's face after being shot. I then put a heavy log on the back and that fixed this problem.I put between 50-60 rounds on this at 28 yards in 9mm, .357 mag, 38 spl, 40 S&W and 45 ACP. It handled all of them well and I see no reason to believe that they will ever cause any damage to the target. I would give it an A+ for durability.Like the .22 target I was afraid of ricochets, however, like the .22 target this target is slanted forward slightly. This deflects all the splattered rounds harmlessly into the ground. The target is substantially larger than the .22 target. This is nice, however, I am not a very good shot and only hit the target about 50% at 28 yards. I guess I need to practice more.Pros:Very durableHeavy weight so it doesn't move even if not staked in the groundDeflects rounds into the groundCons:Body isn't attached to base by anything other than gravityCumbersome to carry and moveNeed a sandbag or something heavy on the back bar to prevent target falling on it's faceAll in all great product. Like I said, for the current price I would not recommend it, however, if you find it for under $50 I would get it.P.S. Take a can a spray paint with you to the range to give it a new coat every once in a while.
