There is little doubt that middle schoolers are in an often confusing time of quest and discovery, especially with issues concerning their bodies, their sexuality, and their future. There are countless sources - from the airwaves, to peers, to the internet - ready to provide "answers." Parent and educators know they can have the best influence when it comes to issues of chastity and morality, but many feel ill-equipped to address the topic. Following the successful format of the Theology of the Body for Teens program for high school students, we are very pleased to announce the release of the Middle School Edition, specifically designed for 6th through 8th grades. If you are familiar with the Teens program, you will instantly recognize and appreciate the format of the Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Edition, as it too uses a great mix of stories, real-life examples, activities, prayers, and references to the culture that are relevant to the lives of the youth. This can be used as a stand alone program, but works perfectly as a precursor to the Teens program. The 8-session middle school program includes a Leader's Guide, a Student Work book, a Parents Guide, and an exciting and dynamic DVD component. (Sold separately or as a pack.) The Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Edition DVD Series is an essential tool for educators, youth ministers and parents. This DVD set pulls together the program. The team speaks to the youth well, and leave enough to the leader manual for you to follow-up with. Theology of the Body is a difficult subject to teach to adults, teens are even more tricky. This program amazed me with the ease of discusion and tangents for the group on such a sensitive subject.RAFM - Catholic Youth Called OnwardMust have for students - Theology of the Body for Teens (Student Workbook)Must have for family involvement - Theology of the Body for Teens Parents GuideMust have to facilitate group discussionTheology Of The Body For Teens - Leader's GuideMust have for the best discussionsTheology Of The Body For Teens DVDs
