I had a different garment for post surgery. Needless to say I did swell up because of fluids post op. I bought two sizes L and XL. I started with the XL first and was able to get into it first hooks. a few days later I was able to move the hooks to the middle and then I tried the L garment and yes they were at the same size. So now being post-op over 6 weeks the XL is at the last hooks and the L is at the middle hooks. I do recommend these garments as a much better quality with better results.I love the hold, will purchase a size smaller. Wish it came with the zip up feature instead of the hooks. The straps need more length. other than that, I am happy.Good
