Maybe I missed something in the care instructions, but after washing this pillowcase ONCE, it went from silky and smooth to a dull flat material. It's not even soft like cotton now, it feels almost like a tote bag material. It's so strange. The color also looks duller. It doesn't look terrible so it's fine, since it just sits behind our normal pillowcases as a buffer against the headboard, but if it's something you want to actually use then I wouldn't recommend because the fabric doesn't feel good now.
