This Blue handle water cooler faucet has a white polypropylene body with internal 3/8"-18 NPS threads and 05" (1 mm) recess for washer in the back of the flange.
Was this 3X the cost of the cheapie ones? Yes. But the others I tried didn't thread on all the way and also leaked from the spigot because they didn't seal correctly. Happy to pay $7 for peace of mind.
