As a side note, this supplier takes the time and effort to package and ship their merchandise in a manner that guarantees it will arrive in excellent condition. BUY ALL OF HIS CD's !!The 'Body and Soul Sessions' is another gem in a fantastic catalogue of quality, excellently produced music.Cant wait for the next one !Excellent!!!Un régal que ce CD de Philippe Saisse ; nous connaissons cet excellent musicien marseillais depuis les années 80.exilé aux USA...Nougaro lui doit "Nougayork", mais avant il y eut des collaborations furctueuses avec Chaka Khahn, Al Jarreau et le merveilleux Altiste David Sandborn. Philippe aurait pu se contenter de choisir des standards de la pop, funk, jazz et de reproduire des mélodies d'une manière impeccable. Ici, il y met sa patte en proposant des arrangements très intéressants et en mélangeant le piano et le Fender Rhodes; il est accompagné par un super contrebassiste et un excellent batteur/percu et le trio fonctionne à merveille. Mes morceaux préférés : do it again de Steely Dan, et Lady Madonna ...si vous n'avez pas le moral, glissez vous le cd entre vos oreilles et dégustez : c'est un cocktail de vitamines! Franchement, un très bon disque de "smooth Jazz" , peut-être que les puristesapprécieront quand même ?Encore une fois très léger.
