I am a big fan of YMY dolls, having purchased them direct from China before they were even sold on Amazon. These doll bodies work with Neandroid and similar sized blind box 1/12 scale dolls.This doll is smaller than the average 1/12 scale, which makes it look like a child in that scale.However, I use it for something a little different - I use it to rebody Barbie doll babies, so that I can have articulated 1/6 scale baby dolls. This is my 3rd YMY BJD in this size. It works well with Krissy era Barbie babies, which have a removable rubber head. The newer dolls don't have removable heads. To get the neck to fit, use the head attachment shaped like a mushroom, and put rubber bands around it. Then pop the head on (heat it as per normal), and push all the rubber bands up inside. The rubber bands keep the doll's head on.The body size is small, and doesn't fit most YMY or OB11 clothes. However, it does fit some Kelly doll dresses, and YMY also makes a few clothing items for it. The clothes are also so small that they are quick to sew.The one change I would make is to have a greater variety of skin colors. This is a very pale doll.
