Nick Louth's ingenious and twisted plot had me making excuses to return to this book again and again so that I could find out what happened next. The characters are very real, definitely credible and the dialogue is excellent. I used to live where the story is based so it was delightful to "return" to the England I once knew and all the familiar names (Purley, Whyteleaf, Caterham) however that would in no way affect anyone else's enjoyment of this exciting crime novel. This book kept me engrossed and guessing right up to the end - I loved it. If you enjoy English police procedural dramas this is a very good one!
