I chose to buy a refurbished T7i with 18-55mm kit lens. I'm very pleased thus far, with one exception- It was represented as an EOS Rebel T7i, but I received a gray market 800D. It's the same camera as the T7i other than the model number badge on the grip. If I have issues with the camera, I have no idea how I will be affected regarding repairs as an U.S. citizen. The camera is literally just like new- no marks, no dust, factory packaging and manuals. I have no regrets in buying refurbished and saved 25% over new.This camera was required to get my masters in photography, and shooting only in manual mode. I just bought it and it works with all my other canon Zoom etc. lenses, sweet!Please be honest in your product advertising. It cost me a good hour if internet browsing to find confidence that an 800D equates to a T7i - Canon calls this grey market product on their website. I’ll keep it and run it through the paces before warranty expires as well as take it to local Canon service center for a check up since I live close to one.Pleased that package included battery, charger and cord as it was not clear. Forthright honesty is best policy.In the few months that I’ve owned the camera it’s been awesome. The kit lens has been more than enough for most circumstances and takes great photos. Everything looked brand new when it arrived and it has performed wonderfully. Would highly recommend renewed over brand new if you’re looking for a solid camera on a budget.Excellent camera for a first time user. I do recommend going on YouTube and viewing videos on "how to use" the particular model camera. There is so much to know it can be over whelming, but knowing how to use this Canon T7i camera makes it that much better, ( many tips and tricks).
