This candle is my favorite candle I've ever owned it kind of smells like cologne in a sense and it is very strong scented (I don't mind it - but noted some people do). I like teakwood candles and I would 100% give it go a go I really don't think you will be disappointed.p.s. I've now bought 3 of the these candles and I plan to buy 2 more very soon Ha! Seriously....A+
