I just took delivery of this new shower sprayer on April 10, 2012, and I must say that I'm highly impressed with how big it is and how nice it works. The massage setting is especially nice, and would also recommend it to any of my female associates - both local and abroad. I will admit, though, I wasn't expecting it to come with its own hose. Well after seeing how cheaply-made the hose that came with this sprayer really was, I decided to just get rid of it and use the sprayer with my existing high-quality all-metal shower hose. Besides, that kit hose was made from cheap plastic, and would be non-conforming to the way I would prefer to mount it onto my main faucet tap. The stainless steel Plumb USA hose I have is so much easier and better to use. It's also longer and more flexible.Probably the only other piece from this shower sprayer kit that I will keep is the hose mount/tap - that is, in case I decide to do an upgrade which involves changing out the original spout with one that does not have its shower outlet right on the faucet. This rings especially true if I ever chose to mount a stand-up shower in my tub, which would involve professional help - and I can't afford that at this time. This tap adapter was designed with a stand-up shower in mind anyway, and right now my setup is a sit-down shower/bath. Considering my health nowadays, I prefer sitting down in my bathtub to soak up the rich and soothing bubble bath suds - while I'm massaging my often weary body with this new sprayer.I really do like how my new spray goes with my Plumb USA shower hose, even though the finishes are just slightly different. Like I said above, the hose is stainless steel, while my new sprayer is finished in brushed nickel. My older sprayer is finished in chrome, and is already 10 years old. It also has a great deal of scratches and wear on it, making that sprayer look rather unattractive and shabby. It doesn't leak, or anything, and so I plan to keep it as my backup sprayer. I just wanted a sprayer to match my hose more closely, and I always appreciate stylish merchandise if it's practical. It doesn't necessarily have to be expensive as long as it is well-made, does the job well, and eye-catching in physical appearance. One star is one star too many!!!What a TOTAL waste of money! I received the showerhead and it seemed to be fine looked good and was a nice size shower head. It had 9 different settings including pause. But, they forgot to include one other setting...it should be listed as the setting called "waterfall", because that is exactly how the water flowed from this showerhead, like a waterfall! Why you may ask...because on the second day, (yes, I DID say SECOND day) that I used it, as I was in the shower and proceeded to turn the dial-type portion of the showerhead to obtain a different water flow option, all of a sudden, I was holding the dial portion of the showerhead in one hand and the hand-held portion in the other!!! With no flow nozzle in place, the water cascaded from the handheld portion like a waterfall! Nice option, if that's what you want, but I didn't, besides, the stinking thing was in two pieces! It was BROKEN!!! This was not an intended water flow option, it was one obtained via default due to poor quality and poor workmanship! I hold no malice against the seller of the product except that may be they should be a bit more aware of some of the flaws their product line may posses. I WILL NOT purchase another "Plumbcraft" product again as this one left a very sour and bitter taste in my mouth. In retrospect, I question myself as to why I didn't purchase a NAME brand item, i.e., Waterpik, Conair, Moen, etc. I WILL be requesting a refund from the seller/Amazon as I am NOT a happy camper right now. In addition to that, I have to now go out ad replace this showerhead today as I will otherwise be running up my water bill due to an unintentional/unwanted waterfall emanating from this broken Plumbcraft showerhead!I wanted to like this shower head, I really did. The price was good, the 9 settings were good. It received good reviews from others. It didn't work for me, though. For one, the curve of the hand-held is too pronounced for my shower. The pipe coming out of the wall (which you affix the holder and hose to) comes straight down after doing a L-curve out from the wall. With the angle on the Plumb Craft's hand-held portion, this angled the water spray back into the wall instead of slightly out or even back down again. I'd have to press my chest into the wall just to get under the spray. Also, the way you change settings on this Plumb Craft is by turning the entire showerhead with you hands - no lever or notch attached to it. This adjustment is pretty sticky and hard for me to do with one hand, and since I'd just had shoulder surgery, I only have one hand to work with - something for buyers who have arthritis or other dexterity issues may want to think about. I had much better luck picking up that good old standby, Waterpik - and their quality was better, too.It is hard to find a shower head with both a detachable component and a standard head that can run at the same time. Very easy to install (follow the instructions) - and has worked consistently without problems since. Was very easy to install and works very well. Very happy with purchase.Update: the shower head broke after 2 months of use, while I was changing the "spray setting"!the hose is really stiff!! I also had to take out a little water limiting washer inside, otherwise it feels like a drizzle on all settings..Works good No problems or issues as of yet. Hose feels cheap but works
