I have had no problem using the body measuring tape. It works as it is supposed to. No issues with anything "falling out" , so I can not understand what other reviewers are talking about as far as the little end knob goes. The only issue is this: The body measuring tape does not have a very strong spring mechanism. So, I think it will overestimate your waist measurement, for example. I think the measurement should be taken with the mechanism pulled tight. It already accounts for the two inches taken up by the retractable plastic mechanism. ( I think that some reviewers do not understand this very basic point.)The fact that two other measuring tapes are included is a big plus. This was the best bargain on Amazon for a retractable body measurement tape.
