Read more Started with Love When I was a kid in Taiwan, I would do anything to avoid a bath – cry, scream, even play dead. It wasn’t that I liked to be dirty. It was because regular soaps and shampoos aggravated my skin, making it feel raw and uncomfortable all over. Even the “better” ones burned or stung my skin. We tried everything. From products made naturally to conventional brands made primarily from chemicals—nothing worked for my skin. Cultivated with Care One day my grandma brought home Soapberries—the little fruits indigenous people used to wash before soap was invented. With a rub, these berries magically lathered up like soap, but didn’t give bother my skin. Finally I felt comfortable in my own skin and actually started to enjoy bath time! My goal is to help everyone experience nature’s gifts for sensitive skin with carefully cultivated and crafted skin and hair products made from botanicals. This is the third product from this company I've tried (the shea lotion is a must have for my skin) and also really good. The smell is great, not overpowering, it doesn't cling to you all day. I feel clean without dry tight skin or some sort of slick coating. I haven't had any skin irritation either. I like the size of the pump dispenser for in the shower. I wish they had a bulk option for refilling but it won't stop me from buying as there are few cleansers that don't leave my skin feeling tight and dried out. Another quality product.the scent is not as strong as I'd like- I prefer a lasting scent. But this soap is excellent. it seems almost 'concentrated' in comparison to many organic liquid soaps. Many organic soaps are watery & don't suds up. With Tree to Tub, a little goes a Long way! & leaves my skin feeling clean soft & hydrated.We like the scent and it works fantastic. The cost with the size of the bottle is a problem for us. If it came in a family size, that would be awesomeI recently found out I was allergic to certain ingredients used to make fragrance. I tried this because I wanted a scent but I needed to know everything that was in it without any ambiguous ingredient labeled "fragrance." This is the one! It has a nice citrus scent but doesn't irritate my skin at all. It lathers pretty nicely with my silicone body scrubber.As I’ve gotten older my skin has become super sensitive. I’ve had to change to organic detergents without dyes or perfumes. I’ve tried many brands of body wash and have to say this was a very good find. The citrus scent is light and lovely, it foams up great and my skin is very happy! No reaction what so ever. I’d definitely recommend.I really wanted to find a natural and eco-conscious body wash that was also inexpensive. This is not it. It's only 8 ounces and I had to use a little over a dozen pumps for one wash. It's way too expensive, considering how much I've already gone through. I'm likely gonna switch to a natural bar soap to reduce plastic use. Not even sure why I've been so resistant to the idea.Positive note is that it has a nice, citrus smell and my skin didn't feel dry after showering. But it didn't necessarily feel moisturizing while using. I think that's what it lacks, it's not moisturizing and it doesn't produce enough lather. I think I went through so much because it didn't lather very well on my exfoliating puff and against my skin.My derm recommended a super expensive ph balanced wash but I thought I’d try this first. Love the light scent and my skin is much happier!It smells great and my skin feels so smooth after using it.
