First. So refreshing to finally receive a body product that is wrapped and sealed! This body butter feels great and goes on smooth. Applied over an hour ago and still feels great. I do wish it had more of a lavender scent, but regardless, I like it alotGreat product. exactly as Described on AmazonSmells and feels so good. Will def order another.It feels like a thick lotion without being heavy on my skin.Lasting moisture throughout the day with a light pleasant scent. Love this stuff!Love this so so much! It's definitely thick and rich and actually sinks in your skin. I do not have dry skin normally but I can get oily on my body. I mainly use this on my feet and elbows, but it's not too rich to use in the summer all over. I just use a thin layer if I'm applying it over legs and arms, etc. In winter, I may be able to use a heavier layer. I abhor the feeling of sticky or clammy skin from the use of a product that doesn't absorb.I've tried so many body creams, and it seems they usually just sit on the skin and don't really moisturize. This one does not sit on the skin and truly moisturizes and lasts well throughout the day. My test for this is the heel test. Heels are notorious for being dry (and ugh, I can't stand dry heels on myself or looking at them on other people - anyone else out there with me?! haha). If my body lotion can make my heels moisturized throughout the day, then I know it's good (especially when wearing sandals all day). The only other lotion I've tried that did the same thing was Lubriderm for Dry/Extremely Dry Skin (it's the one in the reddish/burgundy bottle). This Andalou one is much preferable due to the less toxic ingredients.And the SMELL. Oh my this has the best rose scent ever. If you like a rose scent, I would bet you like this one. You know how some rose scents remind you of childhood dolls/toys that were scented with rose? And it's like a childish/cheap rose scent? This one is not like that at all. It's distinctly rose-scented, but still fresh and bright with just the right depth and strength to make it very feminine and adult. For me personally, I'm very picky about perfumes and lotion scents. I gravitate towards fresh, clean, bright, citrusy scents typically. Please keep any form of vanilla scent or musky scent far away from me. I do not however tend to get headaches or anything like that from scents, so I cannot vouch for if the scent is too strong for you. I don't smell this beyond application though, but like I said I'm usually applying to elbows and feet.Overall, I will repurchase this in a heartbeat and it's my favorite body cream by far. For a regular lotion, me, my mom and sister absolutely love the Andalou Naturals Citrus Verbena Body Lotion. It's the best I've found. Hope this helps someone looking to make a decision on purchasing.This was my first time using a body butter, so to be honest I wasn't such what consistency to expect. I have their Cannacell lotion in Joyful, which I used for a few years in the winter for my hands, but was looking to change it up. This smells absolutely amazing, but it's just way too thick for my liking. I always feel like it's too thick no matter what. I'll be giving this away.I live in Arizona…this stuff helps keep the lizard skin to a minimum. Smells amazing and works great on my over 50, dry skin!This cream as it has a great abundance of really nice natural ingredients. It's a cream that is relatively thick so it's better fresh out of a shower. It's beige in colour and absorbs well with no greasy residue. The only thing I would pick at is the smell... I was attracted to this cream as it said it is vanilla scented but the only way I can describe the smell is that it smells more like milky coffee and those dry biscuits (it does have coffee in it but I didn't think you would be able to smell it) or hazelnut milk... I wouldn't say it is entirely unpleasant but I'm personally not too keen on the smell which is a big thing to me, but if your nose can suffice then I would recommend this cream.The entire line of Andalou body products is fantastic. I have ceoliac and even getting wheat protein on my skin is like an acid burn. All Andalou products are gluten-free and work beautifully. This lotion is a perfect consistency & has a mild smell that doesn't linger. It is not sticky but absorbs immediately and feels so good. The scent is suitable for both men and women. Their Lavender Shea version is equally good but it wasn't available in a large size. So glad to be able to order some Andalou products & not have to wait to stock up when I go back to the USA. I wish there are more available in the UK because it's the only line that doesn't irritate my skin. FYI: Because this ships from the USA it takes about 2 weeks to receive.A very nice, rich lotion for every day use. Not quite as moisturizing as the Cocoa Butter option available from same manufacturer. Would also prefer a pump bottle rather than the flip top.This is a very nice body butter. As another reviewer indicated, the cocoa butter smell is evident, but it is rather spicy and pleasant.smelt off. terrible product.
