After much deliberation I decided to order a size XL based on the reviews. I'm 5'2" 243lbs with lots of midsection body fat as you can see from the photos. I've brought several waist trainers &/or sauna vests over the past 5 months & hadn't quite found that one that served most of what I was looking for until now. I'm glad that I decided on a XL even though it was a battle trying to get it on the 1st time. Even though I struggled to zip it it felt very comfortable once zipped. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Also, the second time that I wore it it was much easier to zip up. What worked for me was pulling it above my navel to start zipping it then, pulling it down once zipped. The second time around I was able to zip it regularly.Pros:-Wide shoulder straps (makes for less shoulder tension)-Long enough to cover my fupa (YAY)-COMFORTABLE-Durable (well made!)-AffordableCon:-Non Adjustable Shoulder StrapsAlthough I love love love the width of the shoulder straps they're too long for me.
