I didn’t buy them for the body fat really, it’s my weight I want to measure so the fact that it’s most important function doesn’t function is a rip off!!!!!! However, I can stand on them, step off, stand back on the and difference between reading is up to 4lb!!! very annoying when you are trying to track weight loss! I bought these because my analogue scales only read down to 2lbs so I wanted something more precise but I weigh around 7lbs more on these compared to my analogue scales. Not too much as a problems as I'm wanting to track the overall loss over time but still a bit of a drag to be reading half a stone more than you are (my analogue scales aread the same as the ones at the doctors so know they're about right!)
