I ordered this book because it was recommended to me by my Tai Chi instructor. I turned to it when I had to miss class to help me practice and learn the moves I was learning in class, and found that it walked me through the steps in a wonderfully calm and detailed manner, with excellent photos and helpful tools. I also purchased a companion DVD that has been very helpful. I appreciated that the book began with an overview of Tai Chi and that it included terminology and discussed the meditative aspects as well as the health and exercise aspects.
